Show Season Wind Down

The show season is winding down now. The season for the big shows is over and we’ve had a busy one. It’s been a pleasure to attend all the shows and it’s been a real pleasure to meet so many of you. We want to thank everyone who came by and said hi. We love meeting you – the ones who use our hooks and we love hearing your feedback. Especially the good feedback, of course, but we take it all back with us and work on getting better – and making more hooks.

It’s not quite over yet, though. Morten and Håkan are both attending the show Sportsfiske Mässan in Jönköping, Sweden this weekend, so if you are in the Lake Vättern-area, swing by. The show season never really ends as such. The big shows are over, but there are still plenty of small, usually one day events, that we attend. This weekend Søren and Lars are at a local shop, lystfisk.dk in Randers.

Have you ever seen the DRAAD online magazine? If not, you’re missing out. It’s a beautiful publication with lots of inspiration. In the latest issue there are some cool give-aways and together with DRAAD, we’re hosting a little fly tying competition. You tie a salt water fly (on any hook), send it to us and we pick the winners of some of our stuff – check it out in our add in the magazine here:

A beautiful tan up-side-down shrimp tied by Jan De Haas. Please participate in our fly tying competition together with DRAAD magazine and show us your favorite saltwater-creation.

Not long ago Morten took as trip to the US – just to fish, for once. He and Steve Silverio went down to fish with Gary Dubiel. Morten managed to land a really big red drum, using Gary Dubiel’s innovative technique, which we’ll cover in more detail on the blog later. If you’re curious about the fishery Gary guides on, take a look at George Poveromo’s channel with an episode featuring Gary.

If you’re thinking about a trip, I think it’s safe to say that Gary’s guiding is more than approved by Morten.

Happy faces – Morten with a big red drum and in excellent company with good friend Steve Silverio.

All for now – enjoy the weekend!
